    Got the red switches RGB backlit aluminum version. As my first mechanical keyboard ever, holy hell is it awesome?! Never realized how smooth the keypress can feel after decades of membrane keypress abuse. Keyboard feel strong and of sturdy make. Sounds amazing out of the box. This being the first mechanical keyboard, didn’t really have anything to compare it to, but whatever video guides I did watch before ordering this one had the “thocky” sounding ones as a benchmark for good sounding keyboard and I am more than happy to say that this sounds a lot closer to those. I could further mod it down the line, but I am not quite there yet in terms of customization and truth be told, this cutie checks all marks for me as of now. As for meckeys, their pricing was cheaper than the official keychron india website (go figure!). And delivery was prompt with a decent packaging. Nice purchasing experience from this site. Have earned themselves a repeat customer.

    This is my first mechanical keyboard and the experience has been pretty great so far. I have the RGB Backlit (brown keys) version without the aluminium frame. And I seriously think it is a solid first keyboard for anyone. The thock in the keys feels so good. I can’t go back to my MacBook keyboard now. Works very well in Bluetooth mode and pretty easy to pair and unpair. Great for gaming as well. All in all a very solid gaming/productivity mechanical keyboard.

    Very good keyboard, only one drawback found is this backlit does not shine through key-caps so it will be difficult to use in dark. Otherwise worth every penny.

    Just received k8 pro .thanks Meckeys for the fast delivery.happy with the product.typing feel is good except the backspace keycap is rattling.
    Will have to mod the stabilizers to improve the sound.
    Bluetooth connectivity was also good.it instantly connected with my windows laptop.
    I am writing this with the early impressions and have not gone through rigorous testing.

    Got the red switches rbg backlit version and damn the keyboard sounds so good stock out of the box and is so smooth to type on. Previous used cherry mx reds and romer g switches and gateron reds feel so much better. The keyboard is build so well, definitely feels like a premium keyboard.

    Got the white backlit model with Gateron Reds for office. This sits right along with one of the best purchases I have made; especially for the price. I have been using a Cooler Master keyboard with Cherry MX Browns bought for ~7K almost ten years back, and it’s unbelievable how much better this keyboard is. Almost makes we want to buy another one for home use.

    I never got a good feel with the Cherry MX browns on my old keyboard, but the Gateron Reds on this are extremely smooth and feel amazing to type on. Almost feels like my hands are gliding over the keyboard. The keycaps are also excellent of quality with great legibility and feel. Very little wobble in the keys as well, unlike my old keyboard.

    I was a bit surprised by how heavy the keyboard is, but it sits nice and stable on the desk thanks to the weight. The keyboard was also very easy to setup across a couple of machines be it wired or over Bluetooth. The length of the cable is quite short though; should ideally be double the length of what it comes with. Cable quality is good however, nice and soft, barely and kinks after unfolding, and good quality braiding.

    The VIA software was also extremely easy to figure out and change a couple of shortcuts to my liking. All profiles are stored on board and doesn’t require any extra software to be installed. One oddity is that while the VIA software shows four layers in total, only two are accessible at a time because of the Mac / Windows toggle at the side. You cannot be in Mac mode which uses layers 0 and 1, and use modifiers to Windows layers 2 and 3.

    The keychron k8 pro is just amazing, out of the box it sounds creamy and is an absolute pleasure to type on. This is my first “enthusiast” mechanical keyboard, upgrading from the cosair k63 which had cherry mx red speeds and the keychron throws it (and almost any mech keyboard I have ever used from brands like corsair/logitech/razer) out of the park. The keyboard is built like a brick and pretty damn heavy. It is also a quite a bit tall and will take some getting used to. Mine came with gateron pro reds and being a once cherry switches purist I aint going back anymore. The pbt double shot keycaps are also pretty good. Overall must buy, must recommend, excellent pre-built with the option to upgrade/customize in the near future.
